Restorative Cities Movement Practitioners will learn the history, theory, and process for conducting trauma-informed Peace Circles for conferencing and mediation.

Pre-requisite – #100 Introduction: Restorative Cities Movement.

#100 Introduction: Restorative Cities Movement

Nation-wide cities are implementing restorative practice strategies that promote public safety, community and family problem solving, truth, accountability, and healing. These explicit strategies build a framework to ensure peace, justice, and well-being for all.  MCCP Virtual Courses introduce the history, theory, and craft of the restorative practice movement occurring in cities throughout the US both formally and informally.  Register below for upcoming courses, space is limited.

Pre-requisite #100 Introduction: Restorative Cities Movement

 Restorative Cities Movement Practitioners will learn the history, theory, and methodologies for developing, organizing, implementing, and holding safe, professional, and effective Restorative Conferences utilizing the Peace-Circle process. Pre-requisite – #100 Introduction: Restorative Cities Movement. 

#201 Restorative Cities: Trauma & Mediation in Restorative Conferencing.Pre-requisite – #100 Introduction: Restorative Cities Movement.

Restorative Cities Movement Practitioners will learn the history, theory, and process for conducting trauma-informed Peace Circles for conferencing and mediation.

#202 Anti-Oppression analysis for Restorative Cities Movement Organizers and Practitioners. Pre-requisite #100

Restorative Cities Movement Practitioners and participants will learn the history, theory, and actions that actively identify and challenge systems of oppression at work in their communities. 

 

#300 Truth and Reconciliation Process for the Restorative Cities Movement

Practitioners will learn the history, theory, and methods for organizing and convening grass-roots led Truth and Reconciliation process involving whole communities following mass trauma experienced by multi-system groups. Pre-requisites -course #100, #200, plus #201
